The 2026 Long Island Grants for the Arts Award Reception
On January 27, 2026 Huntington Arts Council hosted the LI Grants for the Arts Award Reception at the Cinema Arts Center in Huntington, NY. With funding from the Office of the Governor and New York State Legislature, HAC awarded 35 Artist Fellowships to individual artists and 16 General Operating Support grants to arts organizations across Long Island. In total, $290,000 in funding was distributed directly to artists and organizations creating arts and cultural experiences throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties.

2025 Bi-Monthly Community Micro Grant Awardees
With funding from the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, a total of $60,000 was awarded to 12 individual artists and 12 non-profit arts organizations to support impactful arts and cultural programming across communities in Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Huntington Arts Council supports artists and arts and culture organizations on Long Island by advocating at the local and state level for support and funding. We encourage you to join us in our advocacy efforts by letting your elected officials know how much this funding has impacted you, your organization and your community. Anyone and everyone can be an arts advocate. The arts need our support now more than ever.
