A critical responsibility for the 501(c) (3) not-for-profit, Huntington Arts Council is our board of directors. They govern the organization toward achieving its mission. The board of directors individually and collectively have the opportunity to contribute their talent and expertise. Board members of the Huntington Arts Council provide stewardship towards the management and financial governance. These individuals comprise a body representing the Huntington community. Balance is achieved by selecting individuals having expertise in and displaying leadership in the following areas: corporate and business; financial management/accounting; media and public relations; education; arts and culture; government and civic affairs.

As Assistant Director I continue my previous responsibilities in the areas of public relations, marketing and overall communications for the organization while being an integral part of the operations team. I am involved in decisions regarding the future of the Huntington Arts Council including programing, fundraising and general operations.

HAC LI Grants for the Arts facilitate arts and cultural experiences for our local communities. As the LI Grants for the Arts Coordinator I advocate for the arts community, support programs, and guide applicants through the grants process.

GALLERY & OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
As the Gallery & Operations Director, my role builds on my previous role as Business Manager. I am responsible for our exhibitions program and all things related to the gallery space, as well as maintaining the financial information and general business operations of HAC. This role allows me to indulge in my passion for the arts as well as my arts administration experience.
