Artists were invited to submit artwork exploring the broad, interpretive scope of the connection and relationship to nature while encompassing the specific focus on flora and fauna. All media were welcome.

Juror Liz Fusco is an award winning artist having earned her BFA and MA at Long Island University. Because of her love of plants, flowers and natural subjects, she continued on to earn her certificate of Botanical Illustration at the New York Botanical Gardens in the Bronx, NY. Liz paints in watercolor and oil, with flowers, landscapes and still life being her favorite subjects. She has exhibited her work nationally, receiving the Roth Award for Botanical Distinction for her painting of “Tiger Lilies” at Filoli Gardens, in San Francisco in 2017
