John Melillo’s Vietnam Journey is reflected through this “Life Goes On Part 3″ Painting Series * painted from exclusive Original Photos he took while on tour in Vietnam 1970-1972.In Addition, a short VIDEO will be shown that shows the behind the scenes. PLUS, Over 60 PIECES of his additional works will be on view that were inspired by his experiences growing up in historic Southampton, Watermill and Sagaponack where his heritage goes back to the 1890’s. I am an avid fisherman who caught the fever at age 3 from my father, who had a boat in Huntington Bay. That would become a True-Life Pleasure and Pursuit and served as a great tool of knowledge and great playground that serves as an inspiration for my Paintings.
This will be a Presentation in Association with the Award given by the Huntington Arts Council!
