Evelyn Ulex, Pianist Performing in the Park Concert Series

The TransAtlantic Piano Duo, with German-born Steinway Artist Evelyn Ulex and Argentinian master Pablo Lavandera, from the piano faculty at Stony Brook University, has been performing in Europe and the Americas in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Le Poisson Rouge in New York, Berlin’s Konzerthaus and Philharmonie, and the Colón Theater In Buenos Aires.
Their program sheds light to wonderful music from both sides of the Atlantic, both in four hand and solo performances.
They will perform a program inspired by dance and tango rhythms, from the electrifying “Dance Macabre” by Saint Säens to  the colorful and energetic music of Astor Piazzolla and his “New Tango” inspired masterpieces.
This program includes music by the four time Latin Grammy Winner Argentinean classical composer Claudia Montero.
