Assemblage Juried by Po Zhang
July 23, – August 25, 2024
The Huntington Arts Council invited artists to participate in Assemblage, a juried show. Artists were encouraged to submit artwork created on a defined base with 3D elements coming out of or from it. The use of found objects was welcomed but not required. Work could be free standing or wall hanging.
Po Zhang aka Popo is from China and has a history as an art professor with a degree in Fine Art. He came to the US 12 years ago in hopes of spreading his knowledge, and experience around the world. He has an interest in assemblage using recyclable materials, and old objects, as a way to help our environment with his love of art under his production NYPO.ART. He has also been a known artist in the scale modeling industry as a member of the IPMS (International plastic model society) for an extended time.
