Stop by Sunday, October 5, 12–5pm for the Huntington Village Art Walk!
Come experience” Harvesting Memories in Blue and Beyond”, a solo exhibition, meet the artist Sherry Davis, and join us for “Harvesting Memories: It Takes a Village” panel discussion from 5:00 – 6:30pm. There will be a FREE, fun, family craft happening throughout the day! All are welcome to attend!
Panel discussion will be moderated by HAC’s ED, Kieran Johnson, featuring panelist Sherry Davis, joined by her partner Mark Alhadeff, and Sculpture @ Sylvester Manor Curator Tom Cugliani. They will explore the creation and
meaning of her monumental public sculptures Harvesting Memories in Blue and The Woven Gate. The conversation will explore both Sherry’s process (from AI-driven ideation and community collaboration to the challenges of large-scale installation) and the impact of her works.
Huntington Arts Council is located at 213 Main Street, Huntington, NY 11743. Questions email info@huntingtonarts.org.
