Duke Ellington’s The Nutcracker. The Jazz Loft presents six performances of Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn’s jazz arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite. The show will feature The Jazz Loft’s 17-piece Big Band, led by Tom Manuel (narrator), with vocalist Danny Bacher.
