The Jazz Loft Big Band with Houston Person. For two nights the 17-piece Jazz Loft Big Band will feature tenor saxophonist Houston Person. Houston has performed in the hard bop and swing genres but is best known for his work in soul jazz. He is the winner of the Eubie Blake Jazz Award. The Jazz Loft Big Band performs jazz standards and original compositions and arrangements written by band members.
