A glorious landscape, a touching moment, a striking detail, a moving design…Whatever it is that moves your heart is a welcome submission to this mid-winter show.
Event information
Artists from throughout Long Island are invited to submit artwork for this juried exhibition at The Firefly Artists’ Gallery at 90 Main Street, Northport, NY that celebrates the theme of “breathtaking”.
The Firefly Artists takes no responsibility for shipping, and requires hand delivery and pickup of works.
All original visual media is acceptable, such as drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, collage, fabric work, glasswork, jewelry and digital media. Maximum frame size is 36” on the longest side. Sculptures must be no larger than 12” in any direction. An artist statement explaining why this work was chosen is requested for display.
Entries must be original, human-created artworks. While digital artwork is eligible, AI-generated art is not, nor are works created in a workshop or class, or otherwise under the close instruction of a teacher. No reproductions will be accepted, with the exception of photography and digital art.
