The Babylon Village Arts Council will present its Poetry Series on Thursday, August 1 featuring George Wallace. George Wallace, founder and lead editor of Long Island Quarterly, leads a celebration of Long Island poetry with readings from the Winter 2023-2024issue of Long Island Quarterly featuring Long Island’s finest poets. There will be an open mic led by Deborah Hauser.
This free poetry series is made possible through Suffolk County grant and the NY State Council of the Arts for Poets and Writers. BVAC is a 501(c)3 organization.
