Mary Ahern featured in the 16th Annual Sylvia Glesmann Floral Exhibition-Salmagundi Club, NYC.

Award-winning Northport artist, Mary Ahern has her work juried into the Salmagundi Club, 16th Annual Sylvia Glesmann Floral Exhibition. The title of her work on display is “Sunflower in a Makkum Pot – Homage to van Gogh”. As the first generation of her family born outside the Netherlands since the 1600’s, Ahern has a deep affinity for the painters from the early golden age of Dutch Floral Painters, through van Gogh, up to the present time. Her work also features a vase from her family’s collection of Makkum pottery.
