The Broadway Musical continued to flourish in the 1950s, the era of the Book Musicals. These classic musicals firmly establish the shift to Musical Theater, adapting and creating new ways to entertain and tell the story through song and dance. This course will focus on Kiss Me Kate, Guys and Dolls, The King and I, Kismet, Wonderful Town, Can-Can, Pajama Game and Damn Yankees.
