For 135 years, the National Association of Women Artists (NAWA) has been driven by the dedication of its volunteers. NAWA’s mission to educate, empower, and showcase women artists has thrived thanks to these committed individuals. Each year, NAWA honors the women who have generously contributed their time to advance this mission.
While many members provide their expertise, there are those who dedicate a significant portion of their time and energy. NAWA celebrates these exceptional volunteers, known as Art Angels, with an annual exhibition showcasing their work. The organization relies on the kindness, generosity, goodwill, and expertise of its volunteers, who have been the backbone of NAWA’s growth and expansion since its founding.
