The Heckscher Museum of Art is thrilled to debut the Museum Palette Café, beginning Friday, August 2! Join us for a ribbon cutting at 12 pm as well as live music and free art activities for families from 12 – 2 pm! Enjoy tasty bites and a beautiful view in this new outdoor space on the Museum’s terrace. The café includes seating for up to thirty-six people and a rotating roster of local food trucks providing diverse delicacies to guests each Friday between 12 and 5 pm. A diverse range of cuisines curated by Black, Indigenous, and female chef owners of color will be featured. Seating on the terrace will be accessible year-round and includes wheelchair accessible/ADA approved tables.
Enjoy food from Off the Bone Food Truck to kick-off this season of the Palette Café! Off The Bone Food Truck is the brainchild of culinary enthusiasts passionate about bringing two of America’s most beloved cuisines to the streets: soul food and BBQ.
This café has been made possible thanks to a $100,000 grant through the Suffolk County JumpStart program and the support of Former County Executive Steve Bellone, Suffolk County Legislator Stephanie Bontempi, and Huntington Supervisor Ed Smyth.
