After Oklahoma!, Broadway Musicals embraced the new Rodgers and Hammerstein model. The 1940s saw several now classic musicals utilize the shift from Musical Comedy to Musical Theater, adapting and creating new ways to entertain and tell the story. This course will focus on On the Town, Annie Get Your Gun, Finian’s Rainbow, Brigadoon and South Pacific.
