Community Building
The Artist Fellowship helps artists grow in their creative practice and strengthen their relationships within the arts community. We’ve organized events that bring Fellows together to connect, share, and learn from one another, as well as from local arts organizations in Nassau and Suffolk counties. All 2026 Fellows must attend at least one event, but we encourage you to join as many as possible.
2026 Schedule of events are as follows:
Zoom Check- in – Our monthly Zoom check-ins are a chance to connect, share updates, resources and ask questions along the way. These informal gatherings help us stay in touch and support one another throughout the Fellowship year.
Check-ins will take place on the first Tuesday of each month from 6 – 7 PM. Our first check in is on February 3, 2026. No registration is required, just drop in!
Share & Tell – These in-person events are gatherings where Fellows can share their work, speak to challenges and successes, support each other and connect with the grants team and our hosting arts organization. Please register for the Share & Tell events at the links provided below.
Share & Tell events will begin in May 2026. Dates and times will be posted once they are scheduled.
