New York Dance Theatre, under the Direction of Artistic Director Nicole Loizides Albruzzese and Associate Artistic Director David Fernandez, celebrates its 41st season of the Nutcracker at Hofstra University. Show dates are December 16th and 17th with shows at both 12 and 5pm. This professional production is the only production in the region staged in the tradition of George Balanchine giving it its reputation as the closest to New York City Ballet’s Nutcracker than any other.
NYDT Artistic Advisor and NYCB Principal dancer Daniel Ulbricht returns this year with Northport native and New York City Ballet Soloist Erica Pereira to join our company of professional and pre-professional dancers including students from the Ohman School of Ballet. Come celebrate our 41st season as we enter into our 50th Anniversary on Long Island.
