As a devoted advocate of fairness and justice for all people, I believe art has the power to achieve important goals. The goal of my Fam*ly of Humans Project is to create a world population in microcosm illustrating that all people are worthy of respect due to genetic inheritance. The Project, to date, consists of 385 anonymous portraits. I call this work ‘THEY ARE US’ because they are stand-ins for all humanity. The artist’s reception will be held Sunday, September 22nd from 1-3pm. This show will be on view from Wednesday, September 21st through Wednesday, October 23rd.
