Multidisciplinary community showcase that presents a view of the Latinx culture as it intertwines with the American culture and the frequent struggles many immigrants face to find a true sense of belonging in the U.S. Poetry, storytelling, performance, live music and visual arts, showcasing original pieces created during the 8 week writing workshop series under the same title, conducted by, author and educator Adriana Devers at the Westbury Memorial Public Library this past summer.
This program is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of The Governor and the New York Legislature, and administered by The Huntington Arts Council.
