July 13, 2022 – Concert 3 – Oral Traditions The Huntington Community band presents a program that draws upon the rich stories, songs and music that are the hallmarks of the American oral tradition. The concert will include a pre-concert performance at 6:45pm by the Huntington Chamber Choir under the direction of Judy Leopold as well as combined pieces with the HCB. Also presented will be folk music handed down through the oral tradition as well as modern music with band vocalization. The featured guest conductor will be Walt Whitman High School School Band Director, Matthew Hoffman.
