Dance Visions NY and the Friends of Cedarmere present Tuffets and Tricksters

Dance Visions NY presents “Tuffets and Tricksters,” a new site-specific program for Cedarmere, with a thematic focus inspired by the enduring lessons of fables, parables, nursery rhymes, fairy tales, and mythology. Across cultures and centuries, these narrative forms have provided frameworks for grappling with ethical dilemmas, personal responsibility, power, courage, and compassion. We will artistically express how these foundational moral narratives resonate within contemporary challenges in an increasingly perilous world. Through dance works alongside song, spoken word, and visual art, the program reinterprets these stories through a contemporary artistic lens allowing audiences to encounter these ideas viscerally and reflectively.
