Juror, Edward Acosta
The Huntington Arts Council invited artists to participate in Essence of Form, juried by Edward Acosta. Essence of Form explores how abstract shapes, colors, and lines can convey deep, often unspoken meanings. The exhibition invites viewers to move beyond the tangible and engage with the intangible, discovering how even the most minimal forms can evoke powerful emotions and thoughts. Â
Ed Quote: “Essence of Form challenges both artists and viewers to embrace the power of abstraction. Shapes, colors, and lines transcend the surface to speak directly to our emotions and imagination. In this exhibition, I look forward to seeing how artists transform the intangible into visual language—proving that even the simplest form can carry profound meaning.”
