If you ever wondered, dreamed or wanted to experiment with vitreous enamels (fine powered glass) and haven’t had the opportunity, this class is for you. You will learn how to clean and prepare your copper blanks to allow the enamel to adhere to the copper. You will learn how to sift the enamel on your metal blank. We will trouble shoot along the way as you learn how to use rubber stamps to embellish and pattern your copper blanks. Come an explore the many possibilities this art form can create for you. Warning it can be addicting.

Jo Wadler was a featured enamel artist n the September/October 2016 issue of Lapidary Journal Jewelry Artist. She introduced an innovative technique of combing enameling and rubber stamping. With over 20 years of enameling experience, Jo emphasizes the creative freedom that her method offers, allowing artists to explore different textures as well as using bought and creating your own stamps to use in a unique way.
