Since 1982, Frank Ohman’s New York Dance Theatre, together with the Ohman School of Ballet has presented the full length “Nutcracker” story ballet every December. This is a full production ballet with guest artists from leading companies and a cast of eighty children, semi-professional and professional dancers. It is traditionally the largest production of “THE NUTCRACKER” on Long Island, boasting a 25 foot growing tree, a full stage of snow and battle scene, sizzling effects, and 4 hand-painted backdrops. NYDT is now happy to share its semi-immersive experience before the show even begins. Waltz directly into the Silberhaus foyer and meet the family. Mingle with the guests before Clara and Fritz wake up! What a wonderful way to start the Holiday Season and create family memories. For an additional fee you can sign up for photos onstage in the Land of Sweets after the matinee performances.
