DESCRIPTION:The Babylon Village Arts Council will presents its 2nd Thursday Concert Series featuring Beaucoup Blue on Thursday\,June 13 at the Babylon Village Gazebo. Beaucoup Blue is the father/son singer\, songwriter\, musical duo David and Adrian Mowry. Philadelphia based\, nationally and internationally touring\, they have been playing their roots based music for over twenty years. Embracing many genres\, their music includes blues\, soul\, R&B\, jazz\, and country. There’s something for everyone. \nThe 2nd Thursday Concert Series is made possible in part through Suffolk County Omnibus Grant program\, the Village of Babylon and membership.

SUMMARY:The Babylon Village Arts Council presents 2nd Thursday Concert Series
DESCRIPTION:The Babylon Village Arts Council will present its 2nd Thursday Concert on Thursday\, May 9 featuring The Vinny Raniolo Tro. The concert will begin at 8 pm at the Babylon Gazebo. \nVinny will be performing classic swing tunes made famous by his guitar heroes Les Paul\, Django Reinhardt\, Johnny Smith\, and Bucky Pizzarelli. Adrien Chevalier will be adding French flair with his violin and vocals. \nIn addition to his busy touring schedule\, Vinny Raniolo has become a familiar figure on Public Television. Featured previously on three popular shows\, including the heavily programmed Tommy Emmanuel and Friends\, in Frank Vignola’s Four Generations of Guitar as the youngest generation in the lineage of jazz guitarists with veteran Bucky Pizzarelli and in the Music Gone Public series. \nRecording credits include soundtracks for HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire”\,” Amazon Prime’s “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”\, Hulu’s “Fued: Capote vs. The Swans”\, Woody Allen’s film “Café Society\,” and Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon.” \nThis concert is free and open to the public.
