Skill Building Workshops

Optional Skill building Workshops for artists and non-profit organizations that are considering applying for the 2024 Statewide Community Regrant Program were held in June. These optional workshops focus on the SCR grant priorities and criteria providing valuable insight in to the grant application process. 

We encourage you to view all workshop presentations available through the links to the right.

Viewing these presentations DOES NOT fulfil the mandatory seminar requirement for ALL applicants.

Professional Development Series

The Huntington Arts Council devloped a NEW Professional Development Series in 2023 that was created for the community, by the community. Based on the feedback from two HAC surveys, the PD program offered FREE entrepreneurial workshops for Long Island based artists and organizations looking to strenghtne their practice and programs. Topics focused on identity, community engagement, marketing, finance etc. 

The PD program will start up again in the fall of 2024. Please joins us, information will be posted on this website under Gallery Programs/Professional Development.
