We will learn how to create constructed images using your cell phone by combining two or more images. Meaning is generated throughout the artistic process. It will be interesting to see how composites can evoke meanings that go beyond the narratives of the original images. DESCRIPTION:fotofoto gallery presents Lumen Print Workshop with Andreas Rentsch on Sunday\, September 7 · 10am – 2pm\nLearn how to create stunning images with lumen printing – no fancy equipment needed. Space is limited\, so be sure to reserve your spot today! No prerequisite is required. \nWorkshop Description / Making Lumen Prints\nAndreas will begin by sharing some of his own lumen prints\, along with examples created by his students. The remainder of the workshop will be hands-on\, giving you the opportunity to create your own lumen prints. A few days before the workshop\, you will receive additional information to help you prepare and complete one or more works during the session. The lumen process offers a poetic way to tell visual stories and capture the delicate beauty of botanical forms in light and shadow. \nLumen prints are made by placing objects on traditional black-and-white photographic paper and exposing them to UV-light for 45 minutes to 2 hours. No chemicals or water are used.
