DESCRIPTION:Babylon Village Arts Council will present local artist Melissa Maiello’s work in a month-long exhibit at Webster Bank located at 180 West Main Street\, Babylon Village.\n“In my artwork\, I have always explored the idea of visually representing my memories. No matter how much time passes\, I still feel a deep personal connection to these memories and have had difficulty separating from them over the years\,”stated the artist. “The drawings are never photorealistic\, rather the image I create becomes a transformation of my present mood\, as well as a blurry representation of the memory in my mind.” continued Ms. Maiello. \nMelissa Maiello is a long time BVAC member whose artwork has left a lasting impression on the viewers. This program is made possible through membership. If interested in supporting local art and want to become a member visit www.babylonvillagearts.org for application and current events or call 631-669-1810.BVAC is a 501(c)3 organization.
