DESCRIPTION:This expressive art program invites students to explore art through both learning and doing. Each session begins with a brief\, engaging introduction to a featured artist and their work. Students then create their own art using guided techniques and a range of materials—including watercolor\, pencil\, pastels\, and charcoal—while focusing on self-expression\, creativity\, and confidence rather than perfection. DESCRIPTION:Explore the experimental process of gelliprinting\, a contemporary monotype process that combines color\, texture\, and intuitive mark-making. In this hands-on workshop\, participants will practice layering techniques such as collagraph and charcoal transfers while using acrylic paint\, stencils\, botanical elements\, and mixed-media tools to create one-of-a-kind prints. \nDesigned for all experience levels\, this session encourages creative play while introducing foundational principles of composition\, color\, and surface design. Participants will leave with a dynamic collection of unique prints and fresh inspiration for future creative exploration. **All materials are provided.
