In this workshop\, we will engage in “story mining” exercises that help us view life experiences through a storytelling lens and identify experiences we wish to bring from the page to the stage. DESCRIPTION:Wheel focused\, handbuilders welcome!\nThis course offers an introduction to foundational ceramic techniques\, with an emphasis on wheel throwing.\nStudents will develop core skills such as centering\, pulling\, and shaping while gaining an understanding of the materials and processes involved in working with clay.\nHand building methods are also supported\, providing flexibility for students to explore alternate forming techniques. While designed with beginners in mind\, all experience levels are welcome. A sketchbook or notepad is recommended for note-taking\, idea development\, and tracking progress throughout the course.
