DESCRIPTION:Choreographer. Beth Jucovy premieres her new work at the prestigious SPARK Theatre Festival at the 28th St Theatre\, NYC. There But by Fortune is a theatrical dance work incorporating live song that explores emotional and moral complexities of family\, dependence\, and power buffeted by the inequities of fortune and circumstance. The work invites audiences to question success and systems enabling exploitation\, both within personal relationships and a broader social and political context.
