DESCRIPTION:Since moving to New York City from his hometown Paris\, France\, composer and educator Yvonnick Prené has fast become one of the rising stars in the harmonica world. He has recorded with top Jazz artists like Pasquale Grasso\, Peter Bernstein\, Jeremy Pelt along with touring the USA\, Europe and Africa. Prené is an ambassador of Hohner harmonicas.\nAccompanying Yvonnick are Jordan Young and Ian Macdonald\nJordan Young – Over the past 25 years\, drummer Jordan Young has established himself as one of New York City’s premier jazz drummers. He has performed and recorded with world renowned artists such as Wynton Marsalis\, Peter Bernstein\, Vic Juris\, Jerry Vivino\, Brian Charette\, Gabrielle Stravelli\, and Ben Monder.\nIan Macdonald – Ian Macdonald\, New York based jazz pianist and organist\, has been freelancing around the New York city area for the last 30 years. He has worked with many great musicians including Pat Martino AL Grey\, Stephen Harris\, Richie Cole\, Leon Thomas\, Clark Terry\, Joe Cohn\, Gerald Hayes\, Al Foster\, Nick Brignola\, Hendrick Merkins\, Jonathan Kreisberg\, Wes Anderson amongst many others. Ian was the 2024 Listen Up favorite jazz artist.

DESCRIPTION:An enjoyable afternoon of the music of Richard Rodgers will be presented by composer/pianist Paul Joseph and\nhis jazz trio. You’ll hear inspiring instrumental jazz renditions of classics such as “If I Loved You”\,\n“Bewitched”\, “My Funny Valentine” and many others. The group has concertized extensively the past several\nyears doing a variety of thematic programs. Paul Joseph has composed works that have received wide critical\nacclaim in performances by distinguished orchestras\, ballet companies and choirs. His dynamic rhythm section\nconsists of drummer Danny Borg and bassist Edgar Mills\, both seasoned performers. Please register.
