Educators share ideas with colleagues across Long Island\, New York\, with the overall aim of enhancing content knowledge and pedagogical skills\, promoting a culture of professional inquiry\, and addressing curricular connections.\nEric Fine will present his revolutionary approach to teaching music theory and demonstrate that all music\, including all theory terms and topics\, can be distilled into a single unifying concept. He will then illustrate how\, from an understanding of this one concept\, an organized overview of how all music works and is created naturally unfolds.
