Children are invited to color a coloring book page\, created by local artists\, that will be displayed in the BAFFA Art Gallery. DESCRIPTION:Bay Area Friends of the Fine Arts (BAFFA)\n47 Gillette Avenue\nSayville\, New York 11782\nOctober 5\, 2023 \nFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE\nThe Image of a Loved One: an exhibition of portraits\, landscapes\, and still life\, is the featured exhibit at the BAFFA Art Gallery in Sayville on October 21 and 22. The artist\, Catherine Rezin\, after a career as a textile designer\, turned to painting landscapes and portraits after retirement. She especially loves painting “portraits commissioned by families to memorialize moments in time or lost loved ones. Her desire is to give back to those brave and dedicated people who serve us in so many ways…”. Raffle tickets will be sold at the exhibition to win a portrait of your loved one who lives or gave their life in service (military\, law enforcement\, healthcare\, etc.) Proceeds of the raffle will be donated to BAFFA. Exhibit hours are 1 to 4 PM on October 21 and 22. An artist’s reception will be held on the 21st from 1-4 PM. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
