The focus of study will be exploring Gouache’s unique artistic properties and how it can be used as a means for discovery both in the studio and in plein air. Due to its fast-drying nature\, Gouache allows an artist to develop ideas quickly. A well-planned Gouache study can stand as a finished painting or act as a catalyst for larger works.
