Marc Courtade

Executive Director.  I oversee day to day operations at Huntington Arts Council to offer services and programs for artists, arts organizations and the LI community.  My background and experience reflect my life-long passion for the arts, and I am delighted to utilize this as part of a team of talented and dedicated individuals.  The arts enrich lives and give a soul to our communities.  Please continue to join me in advocating for the arts to ensure that they survive and thrive. . Sarah McCann

As the Business Manager, my role consists of maintaining the financial information and general business operations of HAC. This role allows me to indulge in my passion for the arts as well as my arts administration experience. Email

Kieran Johnson

As the Director of Community Partnerships and Development my focus is on cultivating collaborative relationships with Long Island residents, businesses, and organizations. My background in both arts administration and as a fine artist, have given me the personal perspective and experience to know how valuable these connections can be to the prosperity of arts and culture in our communities.  Email

John Chicherio

Performing Arts Director.  The annual Summer Arts Festival produced by the Town of Huntington and presented by the Huntington Arts Council is my principal domain.  Finding great music of all genres, dazzling dance and thrilling theatre for the Chapin Rainbow Stage is my primary mission! Email

Maureen H. Starr

As Director of Public Relations & Marketing I tap into my diverse communications background to build our brand and promote who we are and what we do. Developing our relationships with the media, community, HAC members and partners is at the core of my job. I work on engaging our “conversation” through a combined use of our website, Arts Cultural News and social media. Anytime you would like to “talk” about the HAC and our events or programs I’d love to hear from you. Email


Briyahna Rice

Public Relations Assistant Briyahna Rice is a Mass Communication Major with a minor in Journalism from Five Towns College, as well as a contributing writer for previous online publications. Given her background, she assists in all areas of communications for HAC including the website, calendar of events, social media, and the Arts Cultural News.  Email

As the Grants for the Arts Coordinator I am the primary liaison for NYSCA’s (New York State Council on the Arts) Long Island Decentralization regrant program. I am here to facilitate the application process in service to our larger mission of fostering the arts on Long Island. As Grants for the Arts Assistant I’ll be working directly with Emily Dowd, Grants for the Arts Coordinator on all projects associated with NYSCA LI Decentralization regrant program. I am a Senior Arts management BFA/MBA major, with a general arts concentration at LIU Post. Email
