The Huntington Arts Council offers work experience for college students and high school students in their junior and senior years. Interns gain professional skills and experience while assisting with day-to-day operations of a nonprofit arts council. Projects may be assigned in all departments. However, interns will be matched with a coordinator best suited for their needs and abilities.
Internships are non-paid. We accept general internship applications year round. Job specific internships are posted below.

Festival Production & Administrative Intern, Spring 2020
The Huntington Arts Council is seeking a talented and motivated individual to handle a wide range of office, production, & administrative tasks. Primary responsibility is to assist Performing Arts Director in administration of 2020 Summer Arts Festival (SAF) featuring more than 45 nightly free performances by regional and national artists.
Responsibilities may include: Administrative support for performing artist information, agreements and requirements; Gathering and editing performing artist information; Data entry and organization of festival and performance details; General office duties as needed
Qualifications: College student or graduating high school seniors may apply; Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required; High level organizational skills; Strong communication and writing skills; Production background is beneficial
Hours: 10-15 Hrs/week
Dates: March 1-May 15
