The Huntington Community Band (HCB) enters its 71st season as one of the oldest continually operating community bands in Long Island. Each summer the HCB whose nearly 100-strong musician members (from every walk of life / both amateur and professional musicians) under the direction of Thomas N. Gellert, present 5 evening concerts over 5 weeks on Wednesday nights as one of the original performing ensembles in the Huntington Arts Council’s Annual Summer Arts Festival in Heckscher Park.
