Friday, August 5th – Jen Chapin, Contemporary Indie/Folk Music

Jen Chapin\’s music is urban folk soul – story songs that search for community and shared meaning, powered by the funk and improvisation of the city. No stranger to Huntington audiences, Jen grew up here (daughter of the late music icons Harry and Sandy Chapin) and has performed numerous times on the Chapin Rainbow Stage with her Trio and with The Chapin Family.

The evening will also celebrate WHY Hunger, and fans are asked to bring canned & non-perishable food items for Long Island Cares, Inc./The Harry Chapin Food Bank. Both organizations were founded by Harry Chapin and continue the fight against hunger.
