Work in “Stars, Stripes and Pinups: Art Inspired by Sailor Jerry” draws from the art and words of the famous American tattoo artist. 

Is it the nostalgia or the risqué images, perhaps the patriotism and the permanency? It is the allure of the art inspired by Sailor Jerry that has peaked my interest.  Juror, Keith Tobolski.

Tobolski is the owner and operator of Anchor East Tattoo Parlor in Huntington. His formal art training includes studies at Marwen, as well as Palette & Chisel in Chicago, IL. Recent exhibitions in which he has participated include those at Ink Masters and RIPE art gallery. Tobolski is currently represented by Paper Gun Art Gallery.
