Huntington Arts Council Annual Celebration 2019

On Thursday, May 30, 2019, the Huntington Arts Council is proud to honor three outstanding women for their unwavering dedication to the arts and education:
• Nancy Richner, Director of the Hofstra University Museum of Art, recipient of the Harry & Sandy Chapin Arts and Humanitarian Award
• Maria Loreta Celitan, Educator and Founder of Sol Y Sombra Dance Company, recipient of the Harry & Sandy Chapin Legacy Award
• Maxine Jurow, Artist, recipient of the Harry & Sandy Chapin Legacy Award
HAC will commend these accomplished women at our Annual Celebration. We will Celebrate the Arts on Long Island with an evening of dining and entertainment at the historic Vanderbilt Estate overlooking scenic Long Island Sound. Cocktail reception: 6pm. Dinner: 7pm. There will also be a silent auction.
The Huntington Arts Council, a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization, has a long-standing tradition of enriching the lives of Long Islanders with all-inclusive, diverse programs and initiatives that bring the community together. HAC truly believes that art has the power to transform lives and has been dedicated to this mission for the last 56 years. Tickets are available here.
