Huntington Arts Council: Arts Administrator Forums

Arts Administrator Forums has expanded to be a quarterly round table for not for profit arts administrators and educators. Forums provide the opportunity to explore strengths and challenges of the field, exchange information, encourage collaboration, develop connections and foster a network on Long Island. These morning events feature established and emerging leaders in arts administrator fields and focus on topics that present challenges to nonprofit arts programs today. Open to nonprofit arts administrators and educators.
$10 for HAC organizational members and NYSCA Decentralization Grant recipients from the previous two years (contact Kieran Johnson at email@example.com for discount code). $20 for non-members. Sept. 17, 2019 – Arts Administrators Meet Up
The professionals compiled for this round table address issues of interest that affect arts in education and explore cooperative opportunities. This is an informative exchange and dissemination of information relevant to the field at large. Participants include: Stephanie Turner, Director of Education/Tilles Center for the Performing Arts; Joy Weiner, Director of Education & Public Programs/The Heckscher Museum of Art; Puneeta Mital, Artist, Educator and Teaching Artist. Moderator: Joanne Spencer, Program Coordinator, Arts in Education Program/Nassau BOCES.
