The Huntington Arts Council has for over 45 years enjoyed the support of the entire Huntington community and beyond. We are supported by the fans of all genres of performing arts at the Huntington Summer Arts Festival, by the turnout for gallery openings in both of our exhibit spaces, by the school districts who use the "Discovery Chests" that are part of our Arts-in-Education Journey Program, and by all the individual artists and arts organizations who seek our help in applying for grants or connect with their fellow artists at our networking evenings.
We are also supported at benefits like "L'Art pour L'Art, A Silent Affair," our art auction fundraiser where Long Islanders bid on artwork donated by our talented artist members, or at "Got Talent? Long Island," a showcase of performing artists whose families and friends turned out to see celebrity judges choose a winner from 15 talented finalists.
These benefits enable us to "bring art to life" to ever-greater areas of our community, which in turn strengthens all of us, both culturally and economically, making Long Island a premier location for the arts to thrive.
