Since it was founded in 1963, the purpose of the Huntington Arts Council has been to support and foster the arts to enhance the lives of the citizens of Huntington Township and their visitors. The Council has inspired and aided the growth of hundreds of arts organizations and individual artists now flourishing throughout Suffolk County . Specifically, it is the mission of the Arts Council to provide programs and services to cultural organizations, individual artists, and to promote our diverse cultural activities to the residents of Huntington Township .
As the township-wide arts service organization, the Huntington Arts Council’s is celebrating more than 40 years of on-going activities and programs that include; Information Services, “Cultural Art News”, Arts in Education, Youth Services, NYS Decentralization Regrant Program, J.P. Morgan Chase Smarts Grants, and the Huntington Summer Arts Festival. Our Main Street Petite Gallery and the Art-trium, our satellite public art space, are available for you to view the work of Artist members as well as intimate performances at openings.
