Why become an Organization Member?
As a community arts development agency, the Huntington Arts Council supports and nurtures the artists and arts organizations that create the cultural climate in our community. Our services include information, education, advocacy and technical assistance. We assist in marketing and audience development through publications, public showcases, and our Arts-In-Education program. As an arts leader, we advocate for legislation that supports and sustains arts on a local, state and national level.
Eligibility
Non-profit organizations whose primary purpose is the presentation or perpetuation of one or more of the arts disciplines are eligible for membership in the Huntington Arts Council. Organizational members are approved for membership by the Huntington Arts Council Board of Directors during scheduled Board of Directors meetings.
Benefits
Benefits of membership include the opportunity to publicize your arts events in the Huntington Arts Council's newspaper, Arts Cultural News (a circulation of 90,000), as well as on our website, which also has a link to member organizations' websites. Organizations are kept up to date on issues and legislation affecting the arts. Organizations can display promotional material at our highly-visited gallery.
