Huntington Councilwoman Joan Cergol and the Town’s Committee to Commemorate Black History invite all artists to participate in a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a public art project celebrating Black history in the Town of Huntington. A budget not to exceed $75,000 is available for this project, which is expected to cover all aspects of the commission, including design, fabrication, installation and related incidental costs.
Dates: July 21 – August 26, 2023

A juried exhibition of the Huntington Arts Council & Huntington Historical Society Jurors: Lauren Brincat, Wendy Curtis, Karli Wurzelbacher. The Huntington Arts Council, in collaboration with our neighbors The Huntington Historical Society, invites artists to participate in Interpretive Sights: Art in Facts. Interpretive Sights will seek to tie together the relationship between art and history through direct inspiration of select artifacts and historical documents representing Huntington’s storied history.
